Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is our pleasure to invite all of you to the National Conference of the Romanian Association of Plastic Surgeons (RoAPS) and the 14th Congress of the Romanian Society for Surgery of the Hand (RSSH), which will be held in Sibiu, between April 27-29, 2023, Ramada Hotel. We are very happy to announce that the meeting will be endorsed by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and that some of its members will be attending the event. Some important members of the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons will also join the meeting and will organize a very instructive panel and workshop.
Knowing the numerous scientific contributions in our specialties in the last years, we consider that the motto “Science for Future” will open the floor for very constructive discussions on how to use all these new achievements and how to find new ones to enrich the everyday challenge of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
In additions to the topics discussed usually in our meetings, this year congress will propose new topics, as cranio-maxillo-facial surgery, lymphatic surgery/super-microsurgery, and new advances in general plastic surgery, hand and microsurgery, aesthetic surgery. Together with Romanian experts in these fields a large international Faculty will share their experience with the auditorium and will be happy to respond to all your questions.
Sibiu, the host of our meeting, is an important cultural and economical center located in South Transilvania. It represented and still represents one of the most important and flourishing towns from Transilvania. In 2007, Sibiu was the European Cultural Capital, together with Luxemburg. The historic center of Sibiu is one of the most well conserved historical sites in Romania.
We really hope that most of you, if not all, will join our efforts to build a memorable scientific and social program.
